Speaker: Dr. Derek Voorhees, President, Boise Bible College, Boise, ID
Derek has served since 2011 with Boise Bible College, first as the Professor of New Testament and most recently as President. He is the forwarding agent for “Asians for Christ,” and serves as a doctoral dissertation project advisor for Portland Seminary at George Fox University. Derek has 23 years of located ministry service in Illinois, Texas, Oregon, Colorado, and Idaho. Derek is a 1989 graduate of Ozark Christian College. In 1998, he received the Masters of Arts and Masters of Divinity from Lincoln Christian Seminary, in 2008 the Doctor of Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary. Most important to Derek is his family. Derek’s parents Bruce and Maxine and his brother Mark live in Springfield, Illinois, where Derek grew up. Derek and is wife Nell have been married 28 years and have three children; Dane (Shelby), Dylan (Kristen) and Kaylee.

Bio for Chuck and Patti: "Chuck and Patti Faber met each other at Cincinnati Bible College. Chuck was a missionary kid from Japan. Patti grew up near Dayton, Ohio. They got married during Christmas break of the winter of 1976, and lived in Cincinnati until Chuck finished up his M Div degree. In 1980, they moved to Boise, Idaho, so that Chuck could teach for Boise Bible College. In 1994, Chuck became the academic dean, a position he still holds. Patti, for many years, was a full-time homemaker and mom to their two children, Melissa and Ryan. After the children left for college, Patti began a career as an elementary school librarian in the Boise School District. She just retired from this position this past June. Chuck and Patti attend Eagle Christian Church, where Chuck serves as an elder."
